Langley is committed to helping our clients flourish and achieve their life goals. For many people with convictions, such as our client group, this is hampered by a lack of opportunities to access the community and experience standard everyday life.
We have an exciting volunteer opportunity for a patient, friendly and flexible individual to join us in the role of volunteer Minibus Driver / Chaperone at our housing and resettlement services where we support clients with multiple needs.
Have you a few hours a week to help enrich the lives of our clients through driving and escorting them in our service minibus on outings, day trips, shopping trips, doctors and other appointments? Not only will you support the clients practically with transport, but you will also be the friendly, familiar face on their trips out into the community, which can feel quite daunting for some.
Please note – You will need to be over 21, with 12 months driving experience, have a full clean driving and be under 70 years of age. You will also need category D1 on your licence to drive our minibus.
Become a Minibus Driver/Chaperone
If you enjoy spending time helping others and enjoy being out and about behind the wheel, have a heart for supporting people with convictions and can connect with people well, then this could be a perfect role for you. We would love to hear from you.
